Fairy-Tale Forest 2025

On Sunday 28 September 2025 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, the much-loved Fairy-Tale Forest family event will take place. The start and finish are at the House of Nature of the Moravian Karst. You can look forward to an approximately 3-kilometre walk through the forest, where you will encounter fairy-tale characters and enjoy a delightful morning in nature. Entry is charged for children only and costs 150 CZK; adult companions go free. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

We recommend using public transport from Blansko – bus line 226, departing at 8:40 am, 9:40 am and 10:40 am; returning from Skalní mlýn at 10:58 am and 1:08 pm. If you decide to come by car, private parking is available near the House of Nature for a fee of 100 CZK per vehicle; however, spaces are limited and cannot be guaranteed. The organisers note that on the day of the event, the Moravian Karst Half-Marathon will also be taking place at Skalní mlýn, and from 2:00 pm onwards, departure from Skalní mlýn by car or bus will not be possible – the road towards Blansko will be completely closed. We therefore recommend planning your departure no later than 1:30 pm.
