Thanks to its logical integration into the visitor movement system in the most frequented part of the Moravian Karst, car traffic has been successfully excluded from this unique area. Believe us, your breath will be taken away when you ride the cable car to Macocha and see the elevation you overcome. Don't believe it? Then don't hesitate and come visit us!

Train to the Punkva Caves

Since 1993, two road train sets have been transporting visitors to the Punkva Caves from the main car park in Skalní Mlýn. Their timetable is coordinated with the entry times for the Punkva Caves, with departures at regular intervals, always 20 minutes before each entry slot.

The capacity is sufficient even for groups, and even on the busiest days, you don't have to worry about not getting to the caves on time. The trains are barrier-free.

Cable Car to the Punkva Caves and Macocha Abyss

Since 1995, the Macocha Cable Car has provided visitors with a connection from the Punkva Caves to the viewing platforms and the Macocha Chalet by the abyss. It is considered one of the most environmentally friendly modes of transport, and when thoughtfully and carefully integrated into its natural environment, its importance cannot be doubted.

In over 30 years of operation, we have safely transported hundreds of thousands of visitors. It is an alternative for all visitors to the Moravian Karst who do not want to or cannot walk. Its route runs close to limestone cliffs, thus guaranteeing attractive views.

Wheelchair users, parents with strollers, and cyclists can also enjoy the cable car ride without any problems. The lower cable car station (a short walk from the entrance to the Punkva Caves) and the upper station (near the upper bridge with a view of the Macocha Abyss) are barrier-free.
