Want to take part in a volunteering activity that helps the Moravian Karst nature? Experience something new and get a real outdoor workout? Come on Saturday, 21 September 2019 to the Čihadlo nature reserve on the Lažánky hillside. Rare and protected plant species are threatened by encroaching woody vegetation. The work involves cutting tree saplings with chainsaws and brush cutters.
What to bring:
Food as needed, work clothes, sturdy footwear for sloped terrain, a raincoat, gloves. Suitable tools: handsaws and loppers. If you can bring a chainsaw or other tools, or wish to confirm attendance, please let the organisers know in advance. For those staying overnight: sleeping bag and sleeping mat.
