Open to hotel guests and the general public alike, this is another spring guided walk through the Moravian Karst. This time heading to the Udílí Říčky nature reserve near Ochoz u Brna, subtitled “In Search of Apollo Butterflies and Spring Flowers on Lysá hora”. The event is organised by the Moravian Karst Nature House in cooperation with the Okras association and the Moravian Karst Protected Landscape Area administration.
The approximately 5-kilometre route is suitable for children; pushchairs can manage part of the route only. Meeting point: Saturday, 18 May 2019 at 8:45 a.m. at the municipal office in Ochoz u Brna. The walk is expected to finish at 3 p.m.
Don’t forget: sturdy outdoor footwear, drinks, a snack, a magnifying glass, a pencil and a notebook. Nets and other insect tools will be provided by the organisers.
The walk will be led by Vlaďka Zemánková (Nature House educator), Zdeněk Musil (botanist, Moravian Karst Protected Landscape Area) and Radomír Pulec (entomologist).
