Night Moth Watching near Balcarka Cave

According to experts, around 3,000 species of butterflies and moths are found in the Czech Republic. Approximately 2,200 species live across the entire Moravian Karst, with around 1,000 in the northern part alone. Guests of Hotel Skalní mlýn and the general public are invited to join experts Jan Dvořák and Jan Hrnčíř for a night-time moth watching walk. The meeting point is at Balcarka Cave near Ostrov u Macochy on 23 June 2018 at 9 pm. In case of rain, the observation will not be possible.

In addition to the moth watching itself, you will learn many fascinating facts about butterflies, moths and their lives.
