To mark the 60th anniversary of the Moravian Karst being designated a Protected Landscape Area, there is an opportunity to visit the Amateur Cave, which is normally closed to the public for most of the year.

If you are spending an extended weekend in the Moravian Karst, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Tours are free, but advance registration is required at the contacts listed below. The route follows the so-called Ministerial Trail, approximately 500 m long. Parking is available at the Skalní mlýn restaurant, at Macocha Abyss, or in Sloup. The entrance to the Amateur Cave is accessible on foot or by bicycle only.
