Come to Moravian Karst and start your visit at the Moravian Karst Nature House at Skalní mlýn. Only here will you discover how caves and stalactites are formed, and trace the course of the underground Punkva river. You'll appreciate not only the interactive touchscreen displays and modern 3D cinema, but also the children's play area with its "stalactite puzzle".
The Moravian Karst Nature House opened in 2015 and is located right next to Hotel Skalní mlýn. Various tour routes are available, including a guided commentary tour. The 3D cinema quickly became a firm favourite, with regular screenings of films about Moravian Karst and more. Educational and experiential programmes focused on Moravian Karst are also available for curious visitors and school groups. You'll find tips on programmes and excursions, as well as both well-known and hidden corners of the local landscape.
Information about upcoming programmes can be obtained directly on the Nature House website, where a new newsletter is published every two months. It contains news from Moravian Karst, details of upcoming events and seasonal tips.
