What will you see in Catherine's Cave?
At the start of Suchý Gorge, just a short walk from Skalní mlýn, the cave tour begins. After passing through a 60-metre-long low passage, you enter the largest accessible cave chamber in the Czech Republic – the Main Dome. The cave has outstanding acoustics, and you can enjoy a recorded excerpt from Verdi's Nabucco here.
Several passages and chimneys branch off from the Main Dome. The tour continues into further sections of Catherine's Cave, where you'll be amazed by one of the most beautiful sights in Moravian Karst. Long, slender stalactites and stalagmites grouped together form the "Bamboo Grove". On the return route, a beautifully lit remarkable formation called "The Witch" will catch your eye.
