Fishing at Jedovnice
Moravian Karst offers more than just natural sightseeing, cycling and Nordic walking. Fishing enthusiasts will also find their perfect spot. Just under 10 kilometres from Hotel Skalní mlýn, in the village of Jedovnice, lies the 40-hectare Olšovec pond.
The fishing season usually starts at the beginning of July and ends at the end of August. In one day, an angler may keep 1 noble fish, i.e.: carp, grass carp, pike-perch, pike or catfish. Roach and perch are unlimited. Tench is protected and must be returned. Day fishing permits are available at the campsite reception. More information, including the fishing rules, can be found on the Kemp Olšovec website.
Other ponds in the area offering sport fishing include:
- Oborský pond in Černá Hora.
- Klemovský pond in Doubravice nad Svitavou.
