How to get to Sloup?
► ON FOOT: The shortest route goes on foot via the Křenka trail and past the upper viewing bridge of Macocha Abyss and the Koňský spád viewpoint. The path climbs uphill (over 260 m elevation gain), so even though it's just under 8.5 km, allow more than 2.5 hours. The entire route follows the yellow hiking trail.

► BY CAR: From Hotel Skalní mlýn, you can drive to Sloup in about 20 minutes (17 km). The route goes via Blansko-Lažánky, Vilémovice and Ostrov u Macochy.

►BY BIKE: There is also a paved cycle path leading directly from the hotel to Sloup. It is 9 km long, with no car traffic, making it perfectly safe for families with children. The route passes through Punkva Gorge and Pustý Gorge, and you'll ride past Punkva Caves along the way.

► BY BUS: You can also reach Sloup by public transport. First take a bus to Blansko – during the season, line 226 (the Krasobus) runs this route; outside the season, line 222 goes to Blansko (board at the DSB slevárna stop). From Blansko, bus line 233 runs directly to Sloup.

Sloup-Šošůvka Caves
