Special programme for children at Blansko Museum

Visit Blansko Museum, where children have a summer holiday competition included in the admission price. At the start of the tour, children receive a page's passport and search the castle rooms for hidden treasure chests with tasks. On completion of each task, they receive a stamp in their passport and a diploma at the end. The tasks focus on notable historical figures who lived in the Blansko region (Jindřich Wankel, Karel Absolon, Countess Karolina Meineke, inventors and artists). They involve both knowledge about these figures and various activities – such as holding your breath as if during an underwater cave discovery, or identifying paraffin by smell. This interactive and fun format helps children remember what they've learnt.

Visit the Fairy-Tale Kingdom of Krasík the Snail in Moravian Karst

Another great option is to join the Fairy-Tale Kingdom of Krasík the Snail project and explore the beauty of Moravian Karst and its surroundings with this little character. There are several ways to get involved: play Krasík's geocaching game and search for hidden containers – caches. They're hidden in many locations, and if you find them all, you'll even solve a season-long game and find the fairy-tale fairy at encrypted coordinates. Or visit the Fairy-Tale Offices in the Blansko area and collect stamps in your travel passport. A certain number of stamps earns you a reward such as a memory card game or a fairy-tale book.
